Wu-Tang Clan – Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (LP, Explicit)
Wu-Tang Clan came out of Staten Island with Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and flipped hip-hop on its head. This is an import from Holland.
Released in ’93, this is gritty, stripped-down, and completely original. RZA’s production is raw and dusty, built on hard drums and off-kilter samples, while the crew trades verses with that chaotic, hungry energy.
You’ve got standout moments from Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Ol' Dirty Bastard, and the rest of the Clan—all bringing something different, but it works as one sound.
“C.R.E.A.M.,” “Protect Ya Neck,” “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing ta F’ Wit,” “Method Man”—no skips. This is the blueprint for ‘90s New York hip-hop.

Raw, gritty, and game-changing. This is where Wu-Tang starts—and nothing sounds the same after. Boom bap!
