Originally released in '83 (and quickly expanded from a 7" into a full LP), Dirty Rotten is 22 tracks of pure speed. No buildup, no filler—just short, aggressive bursts that helped lay the foundation for what would become crossover thrash.

This is hardcore pushed to its limit—fast enough to border on chaos, but tight enough to stick. Tracks like “I Don’t Need Society,” “Commuter Man,” and “Capitalist Suck” hit and move on before you can even process them.

You can hear the shift happening here—punk speeding up, getting heavier, and inching toward metal without fully crossing over yet. A lot of bands followed this blueprint.

This reissue keeps it exactly how it should be—no polish, no cleanup. Just raw energy from start to finish.
