D.R.I. pushed things forward with Dealing with It!. Dropped in ’85, this is where hardcore starts colliding with metal in a real way—fast, aggressive, but tighter and more technical than anything that came before.

It still has that raw, breakneck hardcore energy, but you can hear the shift—longer songs, heavier riffs, and a sound that helped lay the groundwork for crossover thrash.
