Circle Jerks leaned into their own style with Golden Shower of Hits. Released in ’83, it’s still fast and sharp, but you can hear them stretching things out a bit—more groove, a little more room to breathe.

Keith Morris is as biting as ever, and the band keeps that Southern California hardcore edge while mixing in some heavier, almost rock-driven moments.

“When the Shit Hits the Fan,” “Coup D’état,” “In Your Eyes”—all standouts. And the “Golden Shower of Hits” medley at the end flips their early material into one fast blast.
